Signal Ark workspaces support multiple team members with role-based access control (RBAC), so everyone on your GTM team can work in the platform with exactly the permissions they need — no more, no less. Admins control who’s invited, what they can do, and how accounts are routed across the team.

Roles and permissions

Every team member is assigned one of five roles when they’re invited. Roles can be changed at any time by a workspace Admin.
RoleWhat they can do
ViewerRead-only access to accounts, signals, and briefs. Cannot create, edit, or delete any data.
RepManage their assigned accounts, enroll contacts in sequences, and action GTME plays on their territory.
ManagerView all team accounts, configure routing rules, approve sequences before they send, and assign accounts to Reps.
AuditorRead-only access to compliance logs, GDPR records, and the security audit trail. No access to account data mutations.
AdminFull access to all settings, billing, integrations, user management, and every feature in the workspace.
The Targeted Discovery feature additionally requires the signals:create permission, which is granted to Manager and Admin roles by default. Admins can grant this permission to individual Rep accounts if needed.

Seat limits by plan

The number of team members you can invite depends on your plan:
PlanIncluded seats
Starter3
Growth10
ProUnlimited
If you’re on Starter or Growth and need more seats before upgrading, contact Signal Ark support to discuss options.

Inviting a team member

1

Open Team settings

Navigate to Settings > Team and click Invite Member.
2

Enter their email and role

Type the team member’s work email address and select the role they should have. You can invite multiple people at once by entering multiple email addresses.
3

Send the invitation

Click Send Invite. The recipient receives an email with a link to accept the invitation and set up their account. Pending invitations are listed in the Pending tab until accepted.
Invitations expire after 7 days. If a teammate hasn’t accepted theirs, open Settings > Team > Pending and click Resend next to their entry.

Changing a member’s role

  1. Navigate to Settings > Team and find the member in the Active tab.
  2. Click the role badge next to their name to open the role selector.
  3. Choose the new role and confirm. The change takes effect immediately.

Removing a team member

  1. Navigate to Settings > Team and find the member.
  2. Click the menu next to their name and select Remove from workspace.
  3. Confirm the removal.
Removing a member immediately revokes their access. Any accounts assigned to them remain in the workspace and are unassigned — a Manager or Admin should reassign them as needed.
Removing a member cannot be undone. If they need access again, you’ll need to send them a new invitation.

Account assignment and territory management

Managers can assign accounts to specific Reps from the account list view. Once assigned:
  • The Rep sees the account in their My Accounts view
  • An assignment lock prevents other Reps from claiming the same account
  • The Manager retains visibility into the account’s signals and activity
To assign an account, open the account record, click Assign, and select a Rep from the dropdown.

Approval workflows

For teams that want an extra layer of oversight, Signal Ark supports requiring Manager approval before automated outreach sequences are sent. To enable this:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Team > Workflows.
  2. Toggle Require approval for outreach sequences.
When this is enabled, a Rep who sets up a sequence must submit it for approval. The Manager receives an in-app notification, reviews the sequence, and either approves or rejects it with optional feedback.

Team collaboration on accounts

Any team member with Rep access or above can leave comments and tag colleagues on account records and individual signals. This lets your team coordinate on account-based plays without switching to a separate communication tool. To tag a teammate, type @ followed by their name in any comment field. They receive an in-app notification with a link to the relevant account or signal.
