Generic outreach gets ignored. Signal Ark’s AI message generation uses the live signal evidence attached to an account to write opening lines and full messages that reference exactly why you’re reaching out — a new CISO hire, a competitor complaint, a funding announcement — rather than generic templates that could have been sent to anyone. Each generated message is grounded in the account’s Why Now context: the specific signals that make this the right moment to engage.

How AI generation works

When you request an AI draft, Signal Ark feeds three inputs into the language model:
  1. Firmographic data — company name, size, industry, and ICP tier
  2. Contact persona — job title, seniority, and function
  3. Why Now context — the specific signals from the account’s timeline that triggered the outreach (for example, a LinkedIn post about evaluating new vendors, or a recent executive hire)
The model outputs a message that is specific to this account and this moment — not a fill-in-the-blank template.

Generating a message

Open the queued step

In Outreach > Sequences, open an active enrollment and click into a pending email or LinkedIn step.

Click Generate AI Draft

In the message composer, click Generate AI Draft. The AI drafts a message using the contact’s signal context. This costs 1 credit.

Review and edit

Read the generated draft. Edit any details — adjust the tone, shorten paragraphs, or update the call to action — before sending.

Send or save

Click Send to deliver the message immediately, or Save Draft to return to it later.

Personalization snippets

Beyond full message drafts, Signal Ark can generate personalization snippets — short, signal-specific opening lines you can paste into any message or template. A snippet typically looks like:
“Noticed your team just hired a VP of Security and announced expansion into the EU — it sounds like compliance requirements are going to be front of mind over the next quarter.”
Snippets are available in the composer by clicking Add Personalization. Each generation costs 1 credit.
Personalization snippets work well as opening lines when you are writing the rest of the message yourself. They add the “why now” context without requiring a full AI draft.

Before generating, you can select a tone to match your outreach style:

Sending via CRM

If you have HubSpot or Salesforce connected, you can send AI-generated messages directly through your CRM from the Signal Ark composer. Click Send via CRM and select the connected account.
Sending via CRM logs the message automatically in the contact’s activity history, so your sequence enrollment record and CRM record stay in sync.

Credit usage

AI generation is metered. Each action below costs 1 credit:
  • Generating a full message draft
  • Generating a personalization snippet
When your credit balance reaches zero, the Generate AI Draft and Add Personalization buttons are disabled. Go to Settings > Billing to purchase a credit top-up and resume generation.
